Core Services

Turning

Utilizes CNC and traditional lathes to handle parts up to 2,500 mm in diameter and 15,000 mm in length. We specialize in complex custom orders, including shafts, cylinders, and obsolete parts.

Reverse Engineering

Since 1951, Ferrari & Carena has specialized in reverse engineering, enabling the high-precision reproduction of mechanical components even when original technical drawings are unavailable. By utilizing physical analysis followed by advanced 3D modeling and simulation, we can recreate or optimize obsolete parts, significantly reducing plant downtime and extending the life of legacy machinery.

Milling

Capable of processing massive structures up to 24,000 mm long and 6,000 mm high, with a maximum weight of 140 tons. Our boring mills ensure extreme accuracy for internal surfaces and complex geometries.

Quality & Technology

The company ensures total reliability through ISO and ASME-compliant dimensional controls using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and a comprehensive suite of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) such as Ultrasonic (UT) and Radiographic (RT) testing to detect surface and internal defects. This technical rigor is supported by an internal team of engineers who design custom software and hardware solutions, bridging the gap between traditional heavy mechanics and modern industrial innovation.
